The Challenge to end all Challenges...

So, I just got back from the Astronomi-con tournament, and I've discovered that I have a profound ability to turn Librarians into 'fireworks in power armour.'

In 6 games, I boxcar'ed my psychic tests so many times, that I killed my one Librarian 3 times over 6 games! (actually, between games 4 & 5, he rolled boxcars 3 times in row trying to cast Force Dome!)
Tigurius also managed to wound himself with perils attacks in 3 games as well! (once with boxcars, twice with snake eyes!)

At the end of tournament, as the door prizes were being raffled off, I ended winning of all things, a box of Grye Knights! The dudes who are psykers who with my rolls, can easily blow themselves up!

As the laughter died away, I was given a challenge by my friends to try out for next year's tournament; build a Grey Knight army of 'units' that can all peril themselves to death, and see if I can explode my entire army in a single game!

So, I need to know, what models/units should I take that basically all capable of exploding themselves in periliously spectacular fashion? Is there a way to avoid actual 'units' that would take 5-6+ turns of constant snake-eyes/boxcars to kill themselves?!

I've been told that if I can pull this off, AND perils-to-death most/all of my army in a single game, they'll name a new award after me!

For starters, take an inquisitor and then get a 7-man psyker squad. One perils will wipe the lot of them off the board. I had a Chimera with 7 psykers, Coteaz and three acolyte warriors in it. One turn later I had a Chimera and in it were three acolyte warriors and Coteaz, all covered in goo. It was beautiful - assuming you're H. R. Geiger.

I would go for an exciting Paladin/Henchmen hybrid list, or as I like to call it the Cortepaladreadencharian list!

    HQ

Corteaz - Can cast sanctuary each enemy assault phase even if nothing is nearby, and a must for the compulsory troop layout below dont forget to cast hammerhand or activate force weapon also
Librarian - Make sure to make mastery lvl3 to help get those perils working! cast three powers in each player turn ftw!! Also worth giving plenty of upgrades to help flesh out your points!!!

    TROOP

-12x Psykers - watch them pop!
-12x Psykers - pop goes the weasel!
-12x Psykers - chitty chitty bang bang!
    -12x Psykers - Headsplosion!
    -12x Psykers - ka-boom!
-12x Psykers - You get the picture

    ELITE

-Paladin - Make him an apothacary and give him a banner to flesh out your points
    -Paladin - Same as above
    -Paladin - Same as above

    HEAVY
------(try not to get dreadknights in your list by fleshing out the paladins and libby)---------

-DreadKnight - this one is a little trickier to kill off due to high wound count, but with a Personal teleporter you can get him into combat asap and can start casting dark ex-comunication and hammerhand, remember dark ex-com only effects daemons with gifts, but that doesnt mean you cannot cast it just to be sure And dont forget to equip the always handy gattling psilencer, heavy psycannon and great sword to flesh out the points.
-DreadKnight - Same as above... points permitting
-DreadKnight - Same as above... points permitting (hopefully not)

Obviously the general tactics would be to hide like a little girl, and to maximise psychic tests and minimise casualties from enemy fire. Dread Knights however must move up at full speed and hope to get into assault to cast their powers... allowing an enemy a turn or two remove a few wounds is an advisable and common tactic with dreadknights in this list as then a perils or two can take out the remainding wounds and grant you much renown! Also if you have the ability to grudge someone for the first round of the tournament, it is advised that you grudge an eldar list that contains runes of warding.

May your journey through the warp be treacherous and may your units rejoice with the sound of headsplosions!

Can you imagine it? 6 Str10/AP1 large pie plates every round. Even if you did peril your guys, that's gotta scare the living daylights out of your opponent up until that moment happens. All for less than 1100 points too.

Thats why you target units that you know are outside your range ~.o

Dont want to be winning the game before all your kernels pop!

P.S - with the blast rules for 6ed (hitting vehicles at full strength, regardles of the centre hole) these bad boys are just going to get stronger

Well, it's got to be legit perils though! No fudging it by purposefully rolling for attacks that I know full well are out of range.

    What about something like;
    Draigo
    Psychic Inquisitor
    big psyker squad
    2x Techmarines
Purifyer squad in razorback or rhino
    4-5 Solodins (mmmmmm... holocaust goodness!)
5 man Termie unit for 'Big D' & 2nd techie
    2x Dreadknights

    Doable? Or barking?!!

I'd love to see death pokes list play it could actually be quite a tough list. Obviously you need an aegis defence line to hide your payers behind though. Also look out for the piece of terrain that does loads of ap2 hits that'd be every model in your army.
