why doesn't anyone reply
its a pretty standard and hardy HE composition. use the mages, RBT's and eagles to get the choppy units over the board and slicing and dicing. if you could, cram in a small unit of reavers or shadow warriors. Reavers could flank and make sure your Pheonix guard and swwordmasters get the combat advantage in horde armies while the shadow warriors could marchblock and tie up some faster armies like bretonia. Think of the shadow warriors selling their lves and the the bretts getting caught up in your metal mage! it gets your main units across the board safer so they can do their job more efficiently
that's a prety good idea you say there
any other thoughts
I agree with everything teddy said but i also think that you have an awfull lot of points invested in one character, your prince that may not be recouped. I can understand this configuration if you are playing opponents with uber-killer characters also, however if not a combination of archmage LvL 4, mage LvL2 and noble may be more flexible and cost effective against most opponents. you have invested lots of points in magic items, especially the banner of sorcery why not make the best use of it. I do like the army list and i think it could prove very effective.
my standard all corners army consists of 2 nobles and 2 lvl2 mages (with varying items). one noble generally carries the reaver bow and is in a unit of reavers (suicider/flanker) and the other with Dragon Princes or Silver helms if going cav orientated or a Pheonix Guard unit (to bolster fight power) if on the ground.
just a fw ideas
