I'm making a 1250 pt HE army for a "fun" non-official tournament. I will be playing a variety of armies so please give me feedback on this army
-lv2 mage with silverwand and jewel of the dusk
-Archers x 10
-Spearmen, full command x 20
-Swordmaster, fullcommand x 14
-Pheonix Guard,full command x 225
-Shadow warriors with champion x 8
I use my mage for a little magic and have archers, SW and RBT for some shooting. Then i have my Spearmen and Swordmaster to do some damage and my Pheonix guard are there to soak up damage (their 4+ ward). Is this a good army or should something be changed
oh lol i meant to say that i have 15 pg not 225. but will it be better to take reavers instead of shadow warriors or archers? now that i think of it, Shadow warriors are a big investment in a 1200 pt army, but i will try the reavers out to see how they do
Your mage has two arcane items but he's only allowed to take one, so he'll need to be changed. Other than that it's a good list. Like Allonaire said, though, some cavalry won't hurt.
Thou shalt remember:
Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.
