Hello everybody, let me start by saying I haven't been playing Warhammer for very long, but Ive been playing 40k for many years, so the general swing of things isn't new to me. I'm still getting used to the change from 40k to fantasy, so please bear with me! I play mostly friendly matches, but I don't often play in a tournaments, if that helps. On to the list. I'm sorry i don't use too many abbreviations, but I'll try.
Noble – great weapon, armour of caledor, EDIT: the reaver bow
Mage – level 2, high magic
17 spearmen – banner, musician
15 spearmen – banner, musician
5 dragon princes – banner, musician
10 swordmasters – standard bearer, war banner, musician
10 white lions – banner, musician
As this list currently stands, I have 110 points left for items for the Mage and Noble, perhaps a Dispel Scroll for the Mage or Guarding Phoenix for the Noble. I plan to put the noble in the archer unit , and put the Mage in the unit of 17, for 3 ranks of 6. The reason why I put the Mage in with the spears is for protection and for the greater leadership. The Noble with the Reaver Bow really helps out my shooting, and i really thought that if worst comes to worse then he has a Great Weapon and can defend himself. Do I really need standard bearers in the spearmen units, or even in the White Lion unit? The reason why I have both Swordmasters and White Lions is simply because, I cant choose between them! The White Lions IMO are lesser fighters than the Swordmasters, but might survive more shooting. I think of both units as hammers, and my spearmen core my anvil. Do you think that another RBT or maybe even an Eagle would be boost my Anti-War Machine? Any help would be useful, thanks guys!

Personally I would get another RBT and an eagle. Your setup for the noble is illegal, they are only allowed 50pts of magic items and the AoC and RB come to 65 pts. I would also loose three of the archers to give a unit of 10. use the point to bulk up the second spear unit to 17. IMHO I would take the unit of WL down to 7 with a musicain and champion and find the points to take the unit of SM up to 14 ( otherwise they will be decimated by even an average round of missile fire). With the mage you either need to take him down to a level 1 and give him two dispell scrolls, or give him the JoD and a dispel scroll even in this configuration he wont get many spells off as he has only 4 PD so I would go with the former unless you want to invest in another mage. Looks like a good list good luck and have fun.

Thank you Aenar for your help. I realised that the Noble was over his limit shortly after posting, but was unable to get back to my computer to edit. I see more logic now in having two 17-strong spearmen units, to put the Mage and the Noble, instead of the archers, which would probably draw more enemy fire if a character were in the unit. You think I should decrease my WL unit to 7, but increase the SM to 14? I'll take your suggestion in this edition of the list. Here goes...
Noble - great weapon, the reaver bow, heavy armour
Mage - level 2, dispel scroll, jewel of the dusk
Mage - level 1, dispel scroll
5 DP - standard bearer, musician
14 SM - standard bearer, war banner, musician
7 WL - champion, musician
I know I didnt include either another RBT or an Eagle, I would have liked to if I had more points. I removed the musician and SB from the spearmen units to free up some points... What do you guys think
The WL are much more resistant to missile fire (3+ save against basic bow fire) and with a unit of 7 including a champion you still get 8 S6 attacks and you can make best use of their woodsman ability by hiding them in any woods. The SM on the other hand are much more vulnerable to missile fire and can't use the woods in the same way so to ensure you have enough to get into combat you need a bigger unit to start with. This gives you 2 rock solid hammer units the DP's and SM's two good anvil units the spear elves and a very nasty hard hitting flanking unit the WL, a flexible and balanced army. you now also have 6 PD for the magic phase and a selection of 5 spells if you include drain magic with a reasonable magic defense with two dispel scrolls. try it out see if it suits your playing style but most of all have fun. Good luck.

Awesome, I'm actually quite pleased with the way the list looks. At first I definitely wanted wanted a Lion Chariot, but after some thinking, and some research of course, I realized that a lone chariot could be easily destroyed before being of any use, and that multiple chariots were the way to go. Seeing how this is a 1500 point list I don't think I could have fit at least 2 chariots @ 140 points each. I have a few options available for the placement of my characters. I was thinking that the two Mages would go in the two spears unit, and that the Noble could fit inside the SM unit. Thoughts?
I agree thats how I would place the characters. Like I said have fun. I know what you mean about WL chariots since I run a chracian army. However I only use the 4 I have, in army lists above 3000 pts. they are effective if your opponent has too many other pressing targets to worry about than the chariots, like two large units of DP's great eagles and a dragon.
