This is the army I'm looking at as my starting point.
Dragon Mage w/wand of extra spell, item of 5+ ward save
White Lions x10 w/FC, banner of immune to fear/terror, item of making unit attacks magical
Hmm. Well apart from the incorrect item names, this looks like a solid base of an army. The biggest problem will be the fact that the army will fight in 2 halves. The great eagle and dragon will head off, leaving the troops to march behind.
A good way to get round this is to either make the army more mobile, by including cavalry and chariots, and using archers as your core, or making the army more static, by dropping the dragon mage.
I am sure this army could work, but it is not infallible.
New LOChat functions now avaliable.

~I second what Ninja said. Also you're going to want to be careful with two small units of Swordmasters. They tear things up in close combat, but with t3 and a +5 armour save they get shot dead fast. A unit of seven means that only two need to die for a ld. test.
