Hey new to High Elves, Keen to buy this stuff for the start of my HE army.
Noble-great weapon, dragon armour, shield, barded elven steed, amulet of light. 132
20x Spearman- full command 205
6 dragon princes
6 dragon princes
12x Swordmasters- bladelord 192
2x Great Eagles
Point of the army is to be cheap but also be elite, hard hitting. Was thinking of spilting the spearmen into two units with command and lose amulet of light not sure.
Was keen to fit in sacred incense on my noble(worth it), amulet of light was just a filler should i use helm of fortune or something different.
Do not know if i should include magic at this point bracket, as it is expensive, but for laters armies is a Mage- level 2, annulian crystal or ring of fury, silver wand. 185 OK???
Thanks in advance
How much are the Dragon Princes? point wise i mean. Im building High Elf army for a friend of mine.
hmm nice list but i have a few issues with this list. I would say that magic is very helpful to have at 1000 points. As is a RBT or two. Presuming for general (which i really like) is with the dragon princes, you can cut one unit down to just 5 of them and you general will fill the last spot so you wont have a random model doing nothing in the bsck rank. This will give you quite a few points to play with already. I like great eagles so fine. The swordsmasters are good but drop the bladelord. If anythig give the unit a musician but even then i wouldn't bother. With the 20 spearmen use the convinient few points left to buy another to make them 21 so you can feild them as 7x3 and make the most of the fight in 3 ranks rule. The only other thing i could say is to drop one unit of DPs and take either 2 RBTs or a lvl 2 mage. It depends if you play armies with magic or without.
Hope you found this helpful!
