Heya, trying to make a 2250 allcomers list, here's the basis i've been using, not sure what to do with the last points, i have a few i deas but i'd like to see what people think
Characters - 637 - both in spears as standard
Teclis + Banner of Sorcery 525
BSB HvyArm GrWpn Reaver bow 162
Core - 380
25 Spearmen FC Warbanner 270
10 Archers XXX
Special - 690
7 Dragon Princes + Std + Banner of ellryion 245
7 Dp + St 230 - usually banner of sorcery
Tiranoc chariot XX
5 Shadow Warriors XX
Rare - XXX
DD: 4+D3 + 1 destroy scroll
The main tactic is bolthrowers + reaverbow + archers & 2 irresistable spells from teclis per turn to make a mess, with shadow warriors slowing them down. Chariot and dragon princes with banner of sorcery to throw themselves at threats, the dp with banner of ellryion to head via terrain to flank / get to the rear of the enemies army. Spearman with static combat res 6/7 depending on out numbering to hold any units that make it that far.
There are 143 points left here are various options i've considered:
- scroll caddy 140
- 'strike noble' unbarded steed, HvyArm, sh, lance/halb, helm of reroll, gem courage 142
- Tiranoc Chariot + 2x DP Ch + Mask Merlord for BSB + Archer musician 140
or cut one DP off each unit so 203pts
- 12 SM/WL/PG + FC 210 remove one spearman [banner of sorcery + characters?]
- 6 DP St 200
Anyway, thoughts? comments?

I think that you should go with an Annulian Crystal Caddy, this will help with dispelling long term, you may have to last a long time out of combat, so a scroll caddy may not be as effective.
That would give you 6 + D3 DD and Destroy spell scroll.
Allonaire raises a good idea. The annulian crystal caddy would greatly improve your magic defence, as well as chucking an extra spell at the enemy.
Apart from that, it looks like a solid enough list. Best of luck

go ahead and give your noble dragon armor. there's enough flaming attacks out there, that it comes in handy 1/15 games or so.
Banner of sorcery with dragon princes may not be the best idea. They will probably get into combat alot and there is always a chance of losing it.
Your dragon princes are two big I believe. Seven wide makes it harder to move for the charge.
Teclis is at his best when combined with another mage. People know he is so powerful that they will hold dispell die back. This allows another mage to get some supporting spells off.
HE have a lot of special infantry units which if used correctly can be devasting.
4 RBT I dont know what more I can add about that.
I know 4RBT isn't nice, but this isn't a nice list!
So do you think 2 units of 6Dp and then 12 WL with the banner of sorcery?
I take the point on the on the magic defence, but so far even against a Screaming bell + 2 engineers Skaven i was fine and against a magicked-out DE army they didn't have range on the first turn, i handled the second turn, and by the third turn i'd put a chariot through one sorceress and DP through a second. In terms of offensive magic being more effective with another mage, i found since most of teclis's spells end up irresistable, well the way i cast them, any other mages were just shut down.

With that noble, the bsb and teclis, thats a tough unit of spearmen to crack!
SCR 6 (+1 outnumbering) + 6 S6 ASF attacks! Not to mention many S3 attacks
Throw Teclis spells last, your opponent will have to save die for him. If they use all their dispell die then you can throw less die with teclis. Magic is a mind game that sometimes you win and sometimes you do not. Also against a really good general it probably will not work to often nor it may not work against one two or three times.
