This list is obviously very light as far as numbers go, which is due in part to my decision to not take any unpainted model to the tournament.
The mounted noble would obviously fill up the Dragon Prince unit of 5, and hopefully reach a valuable target with his 3 S7 attacks, rerolling failed hits and wounds with no armor saves allowed. I'd very much like to put him on an eagle and fly up a flank with my dragon, but I'm afraid that's a little too much exposure in this size battle. I've thought about giving him sacred incense or a ward save, but that takes away the striking power that makes him so vital.
Speed is obviously the name of the game here, and the heavy magic is more designed around making sure my units get into combat safely either through buffs or trying up blocks of my opponents' infantry. I'm contemplating reducing the archers' numbers to add a banner of sorcery to one unit of DP, or at least a warbanner. I've also been thinking about dropping a mage and instead adding a mounted BSB with the battle banner, if I could free up 50-60 points somewhere else. In my experience, if I can't break a unit in the first turn, the battle normally ends up going very poorly.
I've never played in a tournament at this scale, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Well, despite it's small size, I can really see this list working, at least in the magical department. The comabt side worries me a little, as the dragon, dragon princes and lion chariot are going to have to race away from your support structure to do real damage, but I suppose that this could do the damage, even if you don't get the first turn.
As far as alterations go, I will make the following suggestions:
1) Drop the helm of fortune on the drakemaster of the dragon princes. He doesn't really need it unless you expect a lot of direct confrontations, which there shouldn't be if you are flanking correctly.
2) Drop the unit of 15 archers for another unit of 10 lothern seaguard with shields.
3) Drop the talisman of loec from the noble. I can find a better way to spend the points.
4) Put the banner of sorcery on one of the dragon prince units
5) Put the skeinsliver on one of the dragon prince champions
This will almost guarantee you the first turn, and up your magical attack, feeding the deadly Teclis even more dice!!!
I hope this helps

I ended up altering the list quite a bit, but it did remarkably well (2nd place, missing 1st by 1 point).
In the end, my changes were:
-replaced the unit of archers with 10 more LSG
-combined the DP into one unit of 9 with Banner of Sorcery and Helm of Fortune
-made the Noble a BSB with Battle Banner
-dropped a mage and made the other a 140 point scroll caddy
-dropped the eagle, added 2 bolt throwers
-and added 2 units of 7 swordmasters (both with champion, one with Skeinsliver and one with Talisman of Loec)
My opponents were Dwarves (gunline), Dwarves (pure slayer army), and Bretonnians (all cav). I may write up some battle reports once I upload the pictures I took.
