Beat them easily. Wiped him out and lost the lv1 Mage, the Chariot, the Swordmasters and the RBT. Got mountain chimera out and he failed to dispel it with 6 dice, it killed his tyrant and irongut squad in turn 3 and the battle was mine from then on. Archmage performed really well. Is it me or are the ogres kinda lame.

My brothers plays ogres, and no they aren't lame, they do have their obvious disadvantages though that are difficult to compensate for,
and he ran very few models. Maybe less slave giant, a couple of gorgers and some gnoblars. anyway ogres are strong, its just their extra movement has been downplayed with new charge rules (I think- correct me if I'm wrong)
Cake you're right. I play ogres. Leadbelchers look cool but are are overrated. They should have been running 1 or 2 units of 2 tops on the flanks. Gnoblars are also great to tarpit big units while ogres come in and crush them on the side. Should at least be running 2 Gorgers to deal with the RBT and mages. 2 Slavegiants is a lot for 1,500 a lack of a scrappy hurts too but no Gorgers against HE or Dwarves is suicide.
Archmage is 360 points with that combo, you have it wrong
