My first game with my all-rounder version of this has been delayed through my fault; Teaching more classes now so It'll be on the weekend sometime. Anyway, a good friend of mine, also a competitive player and extremely cheesey by his own admission, wants to play.
He fields Deamons and will no doubt be using majority Khorne, his main tactic is march/kill, rinse, repeat until there's nothing left to kill. Obvious choices such as Skulltaker on chariot alongside juggernasties etc will be splashed into his lst without a shadow of doubt.
Anyway, using the same building block as my all rounder I started with the same HQ and Troop choices, as they work for me.
The rest you can judge. Out of any possible army I do have the least experience with Deamons.
Book of Hoeth
Talisman of Persavation
Seerstaff of Saphery
6x3 17 Lothern Sea Guard (6x3)
~General in here
6x3 17 Lothern Sea Guard (6x3)
7x2 14 Phoenix Guard
~Noble BSB here
Banner of Arcane Protection
7x3 20 Swordmasters
Banner of Sorcery
The other Trickster's Shard
1 Lion Chariot
Teclis is still an option to me, just the fact he's 115 pts more for relativley the same thing, outside of more dice and first miscast ignorance. I will think on it. He's usually my first choice, feeling the Archmage more for this matchup however as I'd feel more comfortable with it.
Chariot is perhaps the main thing anyone will bother fighting about. As they're almost marmite to the community here from what I've seen. Against Daemons the shock factor proabably won't even be useful, at all seeing as they're immune to mindf*** and never break. It COULD earn back it's points but it can end up a flat force after the charge, against this army especially.
The Swordmasters are larger than the PG for obvious reasons, Daemons all have magical attacks, 2+ ward on the PG ensures great survival rates (I intend to win through static resolution with the Deamon lines with the PG, force more wounds via test etc.) Where as SMs are adorable and squishy whereby thier armour means nothing.
Anyway, my main question is can people give me their opinions on the chariot filler. I already know it's not great for this instance and I will be removing it. I am already wondering towards more members of PG and a Bolt thrower for Hero, singles hunting/rank thinning. But other opinions and suggestions are welcome.
The only suggestion I can give you is switch the numbers between your Swordmasters and your Phoenix guard.
PG have staying power and work great in a unit of 20 in 5x4 formation. 20 swordmasters is a bit much and you want as many in combat as soon as possible, so make them the 7x2 (18 S5 attacks is much better than 12 S4 attacks anyway) and put the banner of sorcery on the PG unit instead of SM and put the Banner of Arcane protection on the SM as the PG already have a 4+ ward, that will make your Swordmasters much more resilient.
As a chariot filler.. maybe a unit of 5 DP with Banner of Ellyrion?
I understand you logic a little, but I still think you'd get better results out of these formations no matter who you face.
That's about it! Hope this helps.

Fantasy: High Elves 7000pts / Warriors of Chaos 6000pts. 40k: Eldar 5000pts / Chaos Marines 2500pts.
The PG are at 20 because of thier 2+ ward.
This ward's there because my opponent's signiture favourite unit is Skulltaker on chariot. Accompanied by juggernasties.
Not to mention my Noble's with them and he gets a benefit of 2+ ward too. That being said the tactic is soley to challenge taker, note Skulltaker has flaming attacks. I anti-class this unit with the 2+ (DA grants 2+ anyway).
The 20 number with the SMs is there because Flamer's of Tzeench do not care about my Heavy armour. My favourite deployment of them too is 7x2. Sadly these annoying 'Wizard sleeves' (He has a nasty habit of rolling 4+'s for his number of shots per flamer ), as we call them, will rip me apart and give him easy VP.
20 just ensures I enter combat, not to mention I can still aim for a rank of 7 on the front, 5x4 too I suppose standard obviously.
Note I will be using most likely using Life with my Level 4, even though textbook wise, Light's going to be better damamge wise. 4+ Regen potential and the idea of T7 elves is too good to miss, 20 numbering too. Odds are higher there.
That being said. I don't know that isn't stopping me from upping the number of PG anyway after removing the chariot. Sadly 5 DP come to 150 alone, the chariot's 140 and I am hard on points as it is.
I am still heavy on the idea of thrower + 2/3 more PG. Only because hunting down Heralds and lone casters (heaven forbid) seems to good. Plus with the noble I can enter 6x3. We'll see, I'll do some tinkeringggg.
