After a few months of practice after starting Fantasy in October, I've finalized my list. The biggest question right now is which Lore of Magic to run. I'm leaning towards Shadow for some extra killing power. Life and High Magic have proved to be valuable for the Regen/Ward save, but my biggest problem has been being out numbered and my logic with Shadow is by the time any real combat starts, Pit of Shades should have taken care of at least half a horde unit. So here's the list, rip it to shreds, I'd like any criticism you can think of:
Great Weapon, Heavy Armor, Crown of Command, Temakador's Gauntlets
Deployed with Sword Masters to confer Stubborn
Battle Standard Bearer, Armor of Caledor, Guardian Phoenix
Deployed with the Eternal Flame Sea Guard
level 4, Silver Wand, Folariath's Robe
Lore of Shadow, Deployed with other group of Sea Guard
24 Sea Guard
Banner, Musician, Shields, Banner of Eternal Flame
24 Sea Guard
Banner, Musician, Shields
20 Sword Masters
21 White Lions
Banner of Sorcery
2 Great Eagles
The White Lions are running at 7 frontage to get the full amount of attacks because with Stubborn having extra ranks won't do much for me. Same goes for the Sword Masters after giving my General the Crown of Command. If the General is every slain, the SMs will be reformed.
I actually had some success running the 2 blocks of Sea Guard in one 10x5 Horde Formation, but it provided me with very little maneuverability. The biggest regret I have for the list at the moment is the lack of a Dispel Scroll. But being more picky about my dispelling should take care of that.
Be as harsh as possible. I've had some trouble with Skaven and Dark Elves, so any advice would be amazing.
