Hey Guys. I just got my plastic dragon model kits and I love the models and thought that I would throw together a caledor themed army list. I really wish that silvers were still a core option so I could field all cavalry and dragons but that is no longer possible. I know that this is a very vulnerable army but I think it has massive punch and great ranged help. Im hoping my okkam'ed spears and my dragons will provide the punch I need while surviving to get into combat.
Prince on Star Dragon w/ Armour of Caledor, Vambraces of Defense, Great Weapon
Lvl 2 Mage with seer staff of saphery shadow
Lvl 2 Mage with silver wand Life
Noble with bsb on barded steed, great weapon, dragon armour, helm of fortune, guardian phoenix
40 Spearmen with full command and lion standard
15 archers with musician and hawkeye
14 archers with musician and hawkeye
8 Dragon princes with Full Command and standard of balance
8 Dragon Princes with musician and standard bearer banner of ellyrian
8 Dragon Princes with musician and standard bearer banner of sorcery
2 repeater bolt throwers
take a dragon mage too, excahnge those 2 mages and some other stuff for a dragon mage with seerstaff, take spell 5 (firecage) and someone else.
how did you think when taking 8 dragon princes, it seems dumb too me
an army that seeks to fight without the protection of the eagle claws is clearly courageous or inept. either way, í wish no part in it - Eolaran Greyhawk, Seamaster.
I built the list to play against my friends WoC and it did quiet well. I also used it against empire and I needed those three extra guys in each unit because by the time my units reached him I had 4,5, and 6 dragon princes left...unitl I regrew them (evil grin!) But I found that they did very well especially since I ran them six wide.
