I havent played Warhammer since the 90's
I still had a few models lying around so got the new rules and army list and thought Id see what I could make using legel units
The army I came up with is:
Noble on Barded Steed with Heavy Armour and Shield 2
15 Archers, Light Armour
4 Silver Helms, Shield, Standard (hope my general makes up the unit value)
What would you add to this as I only have 4 Sword masters as spare models
You could try mixing up the spears and archers to make a bigger Seaguard unit, use your mountd noble as just a Silver Helm and use a SM as a noble on foot.
Personally I would invest in more Spears and Sword masters. I would also try and find something to use as a mage if possible.
Welcome to LO.
My Noble is that Prince whos name escapes me on a horse, Tyrion I think,
I do like the idea of the Sea Guard but would only having 2 units at current set up make it weaker?
I think I will get more Sword masters as I like them alot
and when I get into the rules again a mage will be a must
Im liking these Archers, 15 of them almost took out 15 Black orcs, even winning in hand to hand combat, these shoot in ranks rules and hitting with a 3 or 4 depending on range do alot of damage
I think the spearmen fighting in 3 ranks (they can do this cant they) kick ass to, especially as they go first, if I had more in that unit they would of been alot tougher
