I'm going for a balanced list here, I don't want anyone calling this army cheese, after all the BS I get about my bretonnian army. I'm thinking about that green color scheme from the GW High Elf sample army, that really appeals to me.
Commander @180 pts
-Reaver Bow and Lance
-Heavy Armor and Enchanted Shield
Mage lvl2 @175 pts
-Seer (CoAA and FoK)
-Jewel of Dusk
5 Silver Helms @115 pts
15 Spearmen @195
15 Swordmasters @225 pts
Repeater Bolt Thrower @100 pts
Lately I've been getting a bunch of crap about taking an all mounted army. Honestly, if you were a Bretonnian king going to war, would you rather have a bunch of trained and skilled warriors or a bunch of peasants. So I've decided to remake my high elf army as a more balanced list. I think this list has a good bit of everything.
Most Annoying Things Ever:
3) Having your Land Raider Crusader destroyed by a Missile Launcher first turn with a 6 to hit, 6 to glance, and 6 to destroy.
2) Chaos Warriors having the exact same statline as a Bretonnian Hero.
1) Getting shot in the head with the Sniper Rifle in Halo 2 when you're just about to lunge with the sword.
The list looks good Peach!
Your commander will be a prime target, make sure you use him wisely otherwise you could lose him very early on to shooting and magic. At 1,500 pts, I'd add another mage and the banner of sorcery on the swordmasters in addition to the blessed tome for a handy leadership boost.
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.
