I have used this army list in a couple of battles mainly against Dwarves and Chaos. I'm looking for somemore oppinions on it and any changes anyone thinks needs to be made. I would appreciate any advice and comments, thanks.

The idea is to win on my terms. I have the speed to choose my battles and where I want to hit. The Bolt throwers are used for crippling enemy shooting (if any) and heavy clavary just long enough for me to get into close combat. The mage is for any purpose he needs to be used for. He can defend against mediocre (at best) magic but is able to get off two spells (mainly Fortune is fickle or Draing magic, and an offensive spell). The white lions are for the flank attacks from the woods, because i have learned that my opponents usually go around them. My swordmasters and and spearelves usually take the front of the combat while my mounted units use their speed to get around. This is my army and I would really love to have some comments and suggestions. And tell me what you think to, thanks!
Well, frankly I cant see how 10 swordsmasters could win against any ranked up units. You definately need to increase their numbers. And drop the guardian phoenix on the champion, hes not important enough for the item to pay off.
Also, its a complete waste to give the white lions full command as they're being used as flankers.
If you want magic defense, I would opt for a level 1 mage with two dispel scrolls to save up a bunch of points. A single archmage typically cant do much on his own anyway, he needs mages to support him.
I would drop the white lions, as I don't see them being all that effective. Personally i don't use them, but you may have a different feel then i do. by dropping them, I might add in another bolt thrower to increase on shooting power. With the extra points i would add another chariot (2 for one as choices anyway) Swordmasters... that's your call. i don't see a unit of 10 being all that effective other than being a defense for the bolt throwers. Possible drop/add unit of archers?spearman?
The reason i suggest adding the bolt thrower and chariot are the chariots in a pair could break a unit by themselves and the bolt thrower give you another excellent shooting piece. both will be clutch in most 2000 pt games.
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
Thank yall alot for yalls view. Its nice to see it from another perspective for once. Me and my buddies play the same army until beaten, so i cant make the changes yet until someone beats that army. But it will be in the works soon after, thanks!
I know that story well, I've faced lots of dwarven opponents... funnily enough the two I play most often have Chaos armies as back-ups (Khorne and Nurgle). Co-incidence?Originally Posted by ElangerSolid combination of items, add a dispel scroll if your chaos foe is tzeentch based, otherwise keep as is.Originally Posted by ElangerArmour of the Gods would be nice for him to boost his defence. To be honest though, I think a level 2 support mage would be a better choice than this guy, equip him with the seer honour as well and the silver wand.Originally Posted by ElangerI've not found the amulet to be very useful in cav units. I'd equip him with a helm of fortune and an enchanted shield. Also, a sword of might will serve better all round, despite sacrificing strength on a charge with your lance.Originally Posted by ElangerDon't change a thing, possibly consider making them first among equals and add a war banner.Originally Posted by ElangerSimple flanking units, nice. I'd possibly cut one to fund some changes of the other changes and bump the unit size to 6. Also add a musician to help you rally if you're shot at.Originally Posted by ElangerNice unit, possibly cut the banner if points are tight (not much fear causing stuff in most chaos / dwarf armies. Add the blessed tome to your bladelord and try and bump up to 15-20 in the unit.Originally Posted by ElangerNice, another faster and better skilled flanker. Try and add another dragon prince, consider dropping the drakemaster if points are tight.Originally Posted by ElangerNot bad, keep around your spears. Two for one special choices should always be maxed out.Originally Posted by ElangerGreat.Originally Posted by ElangerNot a big fan. I'd cut these and add in 2 great eagles and distribute the remainder of the points elsewhere.Originally Posted by ElangerI'd also add a unit of shadow warriors to march block (combined with eagles!) and hamper your foes with shooting. Eagles would hunt war machines and your cav would wait in the wings of your spears / swordmasters to break combat up along with your chariots(s).Originally Posted by Elanger
Good luck with the list, I hope you gain something from that!
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.
