1 Archmage, lvl 4, Book of Hoeth, immune to panic thingy...
1 Mage, Lvl 2, 2 dispel scrolls
1 Commander, Barded Steed, Enchanted Shield, Lance, Reaver Bow.
5 Silver Helms, Chmp, Mus.
20 Spearelves, full command
20 Spearelves, full command, war banner
10 archers, mus.
I planned this army to fight HE. It actually ended up fighting Empire, but did well against them. The empire set up their gunline, and I set up just outside 30 inches and started sniping war machines and handgunners and detachments. Against Empire I used Life (archmage, got the Woods and Stone spells) and heavens (mage, reroll spell). Against HE I'd probably swap Life for High Magic, and concentrate more on shutting down their magic phase with drain magic and fortune is fickle. Sorry that I don't have the points costs on me, I think it was about 1985 points, cause I took a steed away from the mage at the last minute.
not bad, nice list but here are a few suggestions:
drop the champ on the sh, it is not worth it.
i personally don't use reavers i use shadow warriors, but that's just me
that's it really
the list is sound for the rest.
"Ask not the Eldar a question, for they will give you three answers; all of which are true and terrifying to know"
Why no Chmp on the silver helms? I was figuring the extra attack might turn the tide in a Cav v/ Cav fight. And prevent characters from slaughtering the rest of the unit.
Take the champ with the silver helms!!
You can use him to issue and accept challenges if your commander looks like he might be in trouble.
