    help plz...

    i just bought a 3000pt army off ebay and i was wondering if u guys could help me build a 2000 pt game... here is what the guy put in the description for what i got...

    2 Mages
    6 Shadow Warriors
    36 Spearman standard and musician
    20 archers champion and musicians
    16 Silverhelms champion and musicians
    2 bolt thrower and crew
    hero mounted
    2 heros on foot
    3 Chariots
    1 standard bearer
    16 high elf spearmen
    16 high elf archers

    if u guys could help me out that would be wonderful...i have never played before, and my friends and roomates wanted to start playing....thanks for ur help!!

    People are generally more likely to give you advice if you draft an army list and then let us critique it, than if you say "here's some stuff, make a list for me." You have a pretty decent selection of units, so it shouldn't be too hard to come up with something.

    Here's some of my guidelines for a decent HE list:
    -max 10 archers w/ musician
    -units of 5-6 silverhelms
    -units of 18-25 spearmen
    -don't go overboard on magic items, save some points for troops.
    with your units, you could have a few units of spears, protected by chariots and small groups of cavalry. I'd definately include the BSB and the repeater bolt throwers.
