is the armour of gods an item my opponent must agree with before i can use it or may i use it without informing him?
what about the other items from the albion camoaign?
depends on who you play with. My club is pretty relaxed - they'll play anything as long as it's not really ridiculously OTT. If you're doing a tournament, you may have to get permission first to use it.
AoG is actually a really good item. It's not ridiculous or overly strong, it helps the HE out with their main issue (lack of hitting power) but it's rules don't let you run all over everyone.
I'm pretty sure you can use them without permission since I think later printings of the 6th ed HE army book actually contained all the Albion items.
However, AotG is not in the new army book so as soon as you switch to that it will most likely be unusable.
