i really want to use sword masters but really dislike the models. i want some help with any ideas of alternative models or making converted ones???? thought of possibly using dark elf executioners!
well, executioners could work if you added some bits from the spearmen/archers set and filled the "gaps" in their swords with gs to make them look more ceremonial
whats wrong with the models though?

there too paper like and look like old models.
you could cut away the lower body parts of the executioners, replace them with spearmen ones and then add a few bits
you could do the same to the swordmasters to make them look more dynamic
i think it would be easier with executioners though...

i think on ebay, a german seller was selling some plastic swordmasters, in new posers. i don't know if it was like a small forgeworld type company or what, maybe conversions
Just a friendly reminder to all involved that the forum has posting rules requiring punctuation and capitalisation.
Lets pick it up from here ladies and gentlemen.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
i couldn't find punctuation rules my language was about normal in comparison with a drunk or person with slight disability, wasn't as if it was text messaging language (wot u bin up2)
The plastic ones on ebay are conversions.. Look pretty cool, I'm not sure of all the parts I think spearmen and the new chariot crew form the base models. You could try converting them from spearmen, you would just need to find suitable large sword arms.
I'm not really a fan of the sword master models either.. They look way too static and boring. I don't much like the White Lions either, so I'm keeping my mind open for ways to convert either of those units.
Personally I am just going to use the executioners that I have left from my DE army.
I'm not going to pay good money for really bad models.

Mine are converted from the DE warrior sprues (legs and head) with various torsos (HE warriors mostly) and the arms are from the Empire Knightly orders mostly. There is a lot of conversion work with th arms to 1. fit large swords in them and 2. make them look more dynamic.
They're pretty good for my first mass conversion work (first army and first conversion unit)
DE executioners would work, but I would have to add all new blades. I can't stand the DE blades on any of their models.
