Talisman of Loec - combat res?

I've been playing around with this item on my Prince (trying to make up for my horrible rolling) It can only be used in combat, but does the auto wound you take count towards combat resolution for the enemy? It would be stupid if it did, but usually it says whether it does or not in an army book.

I'd have to say no. It says the bearer takes a wound at the end of the phase. Combat res and any subsequent fleeing/pursuing is done before the end of the phase and possibly before other combats. So no, it couldn't count for combat res.

I have to agree with strewart having re-read the entry it clearly states at the end of the phase therefore it cannot count towards your opponents CR.

I agree. Could be a bit stupid though as your prince could lose two wounds in combat and his unit pursue the enemy and...

    BANG!

    He's dead...

You could imagine the energy being sapped from his body after killing all his enemies and as you say, dying.

On topic, after looking at the description, I agree.
