Welcome to Librarium Online!
~I'm sure that many will agree with me, the White Lions metal models are not the most elegant of elves.
I've found a way to make excellent ones I believe. I'd use the body of a spearman, I remodeled the head of a spearman, and I'd use the plastic WL bits from the Chrace Chariot. You can order the plastic lion pelt, lion head, and great axe from The War Store, all as bits.
~Unfortunately, that means that every model will cost me over $14. oh boy...
~Does anyone have any other conversions that would work and would leave my wallet as barren as Britney Spears' reputation?
I've just ordered a bunch of plastic bits for white lions. Unfortunately the place I've ordered from hasn't got some of the white lion bits that I need in stock but I will have enough for the champion.
I'll post pics when I get the first model made.
~Your awesome, I really want to see how they look without spending so much money. Are you getting the bits from The War Store, in the chariot section? If not, then where?
~That's is simply stunning. So you used just spearmen bits and ones from the lion chariots?
Head: Mage box
Body and Legs: One piece body and legs from chariot
Right Arm: Great Weapon from noble box (requires trimming)
Left Arm: Bolt thrower crew
Cloak: Noble box (I've decided to use the chariot cloaks since they fit better)
Base: Mage box (I've since removed this)
It's looking good for the most part, but I think the axe looks a bit too big on him.
What are you going to do for the rank and file models?
