Anybody find it totally ironic that Korhil fits much better with a unit of phoenix guard while Caradryan fits better with white lions? Korhil gives phoenix guard stubborn and Caradryan gives white lions fear, whereas if placed respectively in their thematic places both units turn out worse off. I wonder if GW thought of this when making these special chars?
that is correct
Yeah I found that pretty amusing as well, they aren't really that great at supporting their own type but work really well with the other type. Surely GW must have noticed it, but then you would have thought they would have fixed it.
They did. That's why DE have two special 'champions'.Originally Posted by strewart

I'm not too fond of using this combination as I love fluff but sometimes against my mates I do this with great success.
5000p. High Elves
What's REALLY funny, is taking big units of core troops and sticking these guys in THERE. Now you have two core units that can actually achieve something, alongside units of elites who are quite capable on their own.
But yes, it is ironic
I honestly did not realize this, but now that you pointed it out, it is quite funny.
