yay! Well I got my War Lion from Bitz box the other day, with a pair of the High Elf Silver Helms legs.
I will marry this with a torso from a White Lion, and a sculpted helment, arms from the archer sprue, and a few other bits and pieces made out of Pro-Create to create my very own model of Alanin riding Calorean, based on a picture I drew nearly 15 years ago, when White Lions first came out!!
Let's see the picture and keep us up to date!
5000p. High Elves
Lol - if I can find a copy of the picture I will scan it in and get it posted. The original is on my aunt's wall in Houston, so a few thousand miles from me(!)...
I am using the following bits so far...
1) High Elf War Lion, rope removed
2) Silver Helms legs (unarmoured - I will make the scale mail myself...)
3) Silver Helms helmet
4) Silver helms torso
5) Lion helmet decoration from old Bretonian Knights of the Realm, for the helmet decoration
6) Old skeleton sprue axe to create twin-headed axe
7) Archers sprue pointing arm
8 ) Bolt thrower sprue sword at attention arm
9) Pro-Create modelling putty to create:
Detailing on helmet and breastplate
"Dreadlock" style hair
Detailing on axe head
That's all the parts I have for now, though I may be looking for some more bitz, perhaps husing the cloak from the old Korhil model or something similar....

Sounds like it will be awesome, post some pics when you get them. Can't wait to see them.
Of course, I will make sure I bring this in, will probably start a thread in the modelling sction, once I figure out how to take macro shots with my camera...
I test fit the High Elf rider legs on the lion - appalling fit!!
What I had to do was file away large portions of the legs, making the cloth section as thin as possible, and also file down the haunches of the lion to allow a better fit. Will now fill the gaps with putty.
I also lost the Bretonnian 4th Ed head, so I need to rummage my bitz box to find another one (should have a few, I have the makings of a Bretonnian army in there!)
