Welcome to Librarium Online!
I am playing anoter high elf and he is useing tyrion in a unit of dragon princes.I wonder if my lord had the amulet of protection or dragon armour would it stop tyrion hurting him
Yes it would - Tyrion's attacks are flaming attacks, so another unit of Dragon Princes would be "tyrion proof"

ok great. He is going to hate me when 400 points of strength 7 killing mania can't break through armour.

Even without the flaming attacks, Tyrion is a tank. The flaming attacks are just insult to injury. Plus he has regen and his armor negates flaming attacks so he will always have regen. You wanna take out Tyrion? Don't fight him in open combat. SHoot him, magik him, whatever. hand to hand combat against tyrion is a deathwish.
Unless you have dragon armour which means he cannot hurt you in close combat and with magic resistance 2 he will be hard to out magic. armour ward and regeneration make it hard to kill him with arrows so prince on dragon with amulet of protection all the way
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
Remember, he is sitting in a unit of dragon princes. Even if he cannot hurt your lord, the princes can, so you need something that can bring them down as well so they don't cause him to win combat. Bolt throwers to bring the unit down I think. And I would consider taking the battle banner on a bsb in a unit to face him, if you can get him to flee then you can chase him down and kill him that way. That'd be about the most effective way to get rid of him.
