Welcome to Librarium Online!
I play dwarfs constantly and have found that they have a lot of very dangerous units but I must say that thunderers win it for me,because if you give thunderers shields that means the same stats of a warrior and s4 armor piercing shooting which i have trouble beating.
Can you also try to include tips on how to beat them beacause I am facing 62 of them on Thursday!

Organ guns. Loathe them.
Best way to beat them is obviously an eagle and some Shadow Warriors. I would say multiple eagles, but you're going to want your bolt throwers.
Facing down Thunderers and a big gunline - go for White Lions and Phoenix Guard. Either/both can weather some shooting. Also White Lions can close through woods.
You could think about beefing up either unit with a lord/hero packing sacred incense etc.
Going very magic heavy is your other option (Teclis!) with Lore of Metal or Fire?
I wouldn't fancy facing down a number of dwarf war machines using a dragon...
I don't have trouble with them mainly because my phoenix guard have sacred incense he tries to get them to a more manageable size while my swordmasters mow through his army
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
I usually find a couple of bolt throwers account for 1-3 of these a turn. Take enough magic, and you can throw (especially with Teclis) some nasty spells at them - fire spells, rule of burning iron on those iron breakers with irresistible force...
Unfortunately you'll need to get him within 24 inches of the target unit - which could be dangerous for him, as it means marching him into dwarves, with all their guns and war machines.
It's also a big points sink to take him, and the banner of sorcery, and other mages etc.
Thunderers are like a tough melee unit but with a range of 24" so you can't fight back. I hate those guys.
