i was just thinking, if you give a prince or archmage a talisman of saphery and the floriath's robes, is your character practicly invincible??
No but its very frustrating for the enemy
He can still be damaged by regular magic and some lores have magic that can single out the target even within a unit so he wouldn't be totally safe. The thing about this combination is that you spend points and magic item slots. This means you can't take any sweet arcane items and stuff, therefore the combo isn't much used.
5000p. High Elves
whoops, you're right. it costs many points, and you can be hit by regular magic. i don't think i will take this combination
Also you can be beaten by combat res
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
and one of them makes it so you can't attack, so why would you put that on your Prince?
too many points as you pointed out. He's safer in a unit anyway like swordmasters, spearmen or whitelions which deal nasty blows to enemies that charge.
