10x Sword Masters with musician, and standard = 168
15X Spearmen with musician and standard = 150
4x Silverhelms with shield = 92
1x Lion Chariot = 140
2x Bolt Thrower = 200
1x Level 1 Mage with Jewel of the Dusk, and Silver Wand = 125
1X Noble on barbed steed with dragon armour + enchanted shield + lance + additional hand weapon = 121
Noble is grouped with silverhelms.
Any suggestions for balances sake?
Good, although I'd drop the MU and SB to save points. Add in a champion with Amulet of Light in case you come up against Undead Etheral unitsOriginally Posted by SovietSpacerSpears need to be in units of 20 minimum to be effectiveOriginally Posted by SovietSpacerMinimum requirement is 5 so you need 1 more. If you have these then use them, otherwise Dragon Princes are better.Originally Posted by SovietSpacerExcellentOriginally Posted by SovietSpacerExcellentOriginally Posted by SovietSpacerSilver Wand & Jewel of Dusk are both Arcane items. Characters can only carry 1 of each item type. Personally if you want to go with magic, make him Level 2, drop the Jewel and add a power stone.Originally Posted by SovietSpacerOK - Gem of Courage would be good additionOriginally Posted by SovietSpacerYou could depending on your tactics drop the mounted noble altogether and give the points to the Mage (boost him to Lvl 2) and the Spears (boost them to 20). A Lion Banner or War Banner on the Spears would be a useful addition.Originally Posted by SovietSpacer
What models do you have in your inventory, any eagles?
My Current Armies
Dwarfs 7000pts, HE 3500pts, VC 2500pts, Menoth 2500pts
See them at Stumpy Heaven
Truly, I havn't given this as much thought as it deserves (its 12:57am lol) but how about this:
Noble, Barded Elven Steed, Dragon Armour, Shield, Lance, Temakadors Gauntlets. - (Assigned to Dragon Prince unit)
Mage, Jewel of the Dusk, Dispel Scroll - (Assigned to Spearmen Unit)
20 Elven Spearmen with Full Command
6 Dragon Princes with Full Command
Repeater Bolt Thrower
Hope this helps.

Nobles mounted cannot use additional HW
I would go for a bit of a rework of the list:
X Spears + Standard
2 x 7 Swordmasters with Bladelords in each (if you don't have the models, use proxies...) - maybe one of them can have Armour of caledor to save him in Challenges?
5 Silver Helms with High Helm
1 Bolt Thrower (you don't have sufficient Elves on the field to make it worthwhile to take 2, and it pays for more troops)
1 Lvl 2 mage, Silver wand, scroll
1 Noble, barded steed, enchanted shield, Dragon armour, Radiant Gem
I would use any extra points to fluff out the X spears
Your tactics should be to close vs enemy ASAP, you have 4 DD at 1000 pts + 5 PD

DD and PD are dispel dice and power dice. I would put the SMs in 2x ranks of 7 each. That way you are maximising attacks. Against any 5-wide infantry, you should get 15 attacks against them, whereas if you are 5 wide yu only get 11 attacks. Given your very high WS and reasonable strength you should be scoring additional casualties for every 3 attacks you have in the front rank against most enemy infantry.
With 15 attacks against a 5-wide unit, you ought to guarantee wiping out the front rank...
Cavalry are a bit more problematic, but again, ASF and S5 are headaches for even 1+ armour save cavalry, who are saving on 3s, and against a very high volume of attacks.
Alright thanks for your help. I like the idea of making the noble a wizard and giving the other the possibility of casting flames of the phoenix. Maximizing attacks with ranks of 7 is something I want to do too. Gonna miss the chariot though.
So is it not possible to group a mounted noble with a unit of 4 cavalry only a unit of 5?
Meaning instead of getting 4 Silver Helms to go with the noble I would need to purchase 5 and have a rank of 6 with the noble.
Yeah the minimum unit sizes for all of our special is 5 (except chariots) so you must by 5 silverhelms and the Noble making a frontage of 6. This isnt a big deal as you should be able to get them all into an enemy that has a frontage of 5. Silverhelms really want to be hitting a flank not a front though.
