    1k list suggestion

Here is the list I am currently thinking of rolling with. Let me know if you have any suggestions

    Mage

    Level 2 Upgrade; Hand Weapon
    Annulian Crystal

    Mage
    Level 2 Upgrade; Hand Weapon
    Silver Wand

    Phoenix Guard (15
    musician, standard

    Repeater Bolt Thrower

    Sword Masters of Hoeth (7)
    musician, standard

    Lothern Sea Guard (15)
    Musician ; Standard Bearer

suggestions/ remarks? Im curious if the 2 lvl 2 wizards is a bit much.

    Hey,

first of all, would you mind removing the point costs for upgrades and units without upgrades, it is against the forum rules to post these. Also the description of items is strictly forbidden.

With this sorted, I think you lack models, and I think you would do fine with only one Mage and perhaps a Noble in addition, to get some LD9 in the army.
The Lothern Seaguard can do great sometimes, but at lower point games, you have to use your points wisely, and the LSGs are a mix between melee and shooting. None of which are great. Id swap them for a bigger unit of Spearmen. If you have modelled them already with bows, then just tell your opponent they don't have bows. I don't really see the use of PG in this battle. They can be great to carry a Magic Banner or the BSB, but you might as well drop them and bump the Swordmaster unit and add a unit of Dragon Princes and an eagle.

    Regards,

Oh, and this should be in the Army List sub forum.

and you can't have 3 RBT's.. RBT's are a rare choice so you only can have 2.

I think he means the unit consists of three models, RBT and two crewmen. At least that fits better with the total points.

it was pulled directly from army builder... sorry.

So the list was build with the intention of the PG being a nice tar unit, I play a lot of horde armies, so I was hoping for a lot of high chance hits. working the PG as a front and the SM as a flank. I took the LSG to try to be more versatile. Taking the two mages usually means im dominating the magic phase on both ends. I tend to take lore of fire with the mage with the wand, and high magic.

    Not to worry

My suggestions still stand, though in the end, it's your list.

but if you have 2 mages i don't think you'll need the annullian crystal. i would go for the seerstaff or the jewel of the dusk to make your own magic phase more dangerous.
if you are playing against ranked hordes you really want flames of the phoenix, so that's why the seerstaff would be handy..

as for the units i would take archers instead of LSG, this might free up enough points for another unit of swordmasters.

    good luck
