    Dragon bases

will it be any downnsides to use the old dragon insted of the new one? when we think about the diffrent base sizes. will the new base be better in the game for some resson?

I have to chose to use the old or the new dragon for a competition coming up.

The new one is probably not as good because its easier to be hit by cannons and stuff and you're less manuvarable but really take the best painted one XD because that will probably make more difference to your comp score than you'd gain from the small base
I've learnt so much from my mistakes...

I'm thinking of making a few more!

Maybe minor advantages as it's bigger on one side, but not really great pros or cons IMO.

Are the old bases still legal?
    They have smaller flanks.
I had a discussion with a friend who placed his old giant on a smaller base so I couldn´t attack him with as many models as i should. That wasn´t legal.

"The base the model came with" is what is legal. So if you do indeed have a model from a different edition, whatever base size it came with is the only techincally legal one.

Oh, I read through the first post again noticed it says tournament. Well, I'm not really sure then. I would contact the manager and ask what the policy is.

Putting a giant on another base is also a tricky question, but I would say it was illegal.
