As I've seen a few times on the forums, a Noble on a great eagle with a reaver bow is a very effective tactic. I recently decided I want to field one in my army but I cannot find any High elf hero on a great eagle. The only model i found was the wood elf lord on great eagle and that is one of the ugliest models I've ever seen lol.
So to the point of my post, what do you guys use as your Noble on eagle model?
While mine is nowhere near as cool or pretty as Allonaire's, I use a WoodElf Great-Eagle with the Prince build from the Dragon kit as a rider. My Prince isn't glued to either model, and when I'm using the Dragon, I don't really use the Eagle-Noble that often, so it's not a problem.
It takes some trimming to get it to look like he fits perfectly. If you're careful, you can get him to look natural on both the eagle and the dragon.
I also believe we're getting a prince on eagle sculpt when 8th ed comes out, if you're willing to wait that long
