so, after 2 years away from WFB, i've returned with HE! there's a lot of new stuff to learn (and to learn again) nut i trust that the might of Ulthuan is going to be shown once again!
anyway, yesterday i had my first game and i was mostly interested in playing everything right. during the match, we had this doubt that we couldn't solve.....i guess i've played it correctly, but i would like to confirm: WLions and Swordmasters ASF is denied by ASL right? if that's the case, does it also nullify the other ASF ability as well, i.e., the chance to re-roll missed hits (when your I is higher)?
No, it's in our FAQ- we never count ASL with great weapons, we will always strike as though we have ASF, getting our rerolls and everything. We are the only army that this is available to however.
Noramlly, ASF/ASL means that you strike at your normal initiative order, with no rerolls etc.
!!!!! didn't know that.......thanks!!
This only applies to the elves, though. The lions, horses, etc. strike in their initiative order.
but there is not many horses with great weapons:p
I think he referred to the "Speed of Asuryan" rule only applying to elves, not their mounts.
