my best decided to play WoC, with using MoK on almost every unit. here's a quick list on what he intends to play. Note that I'm not familiar with WoC so the list isn't precise, it's just a basis on what he wants to play. He wants to start at 1500 ( He just started buying stuff ), but he s down to go up to 3000.
Chaos Lord on Juggernaut
Big unit of marauders ( 25-30)
1 unit of Marauder riders ( 5-10 )
2 units of 15 Chaos Warriors
1 with HW / Shields - 1 with two HWs
2 units of 5 Chaos Knights ( weird, but he insists on two separates ones )
1 units of 10-12 Chosen - halberds
1-2 Chaos Spawns
probably a Exalted Hero with BsB
1 unit of warhounds (10... not sure )
That s his official list, at least he s sure he ll get all this at some point.
He told me all this because he s sure to beat me now with them ( he used to play WE and always lost ). So with all this info, what is the best option?
I have some ideas, since I'm pretty sure I stand a chance, but any advice from more experienced people is welcomed.
Probably not going to field a Prince, since I'm pretty sure he'll kill him, so I intend to use Archmage. Oh yeah, all of my friends, him included, are on the '' Book of Hoeth is OP, banned'' side, so it s a lil lame for me .
Phoenix guards, Dragon Princes and Swordmasters are sure to be there, and maybe some RBTs.
Thanks in advance for any insight.

For one, be sure to have something to shoot at the marauders, as thats an easy way to take them out. Secondly, since they're using MoK, they don't have the ward save making the use of RBT's much more successful. Use RBT's vs. his Chaos Knights as well as take a Lvl 2 mage (or lvl1) with metal magic. If you can get plague of rust and the sig spell, you are in business. [Last time I went up against WoC, I managed in the first round to get off the metal signature spell irresistibly and take out all 5 - Gamewinner]
Small units of Warriors aren't too much of a problem, focus on the Chosen as they will be tough. Also, I'm not sure of the rules regarding monstrous cavalry joining cavalry, but I think his general will be in the open. Perfect opportunity for a few shots at poking the bear with an RBT!
Hope you battle goes well, and I hope my comments aren't gibberish... just got off a 12 hr shift...
........swordmasters. I have high elves and WOC and I am terrified of swordmasters. Always strike first with re-rolls to hit, 2 attacks each at S5 can really make a mess of my lines before i get to even attack back. However the counter attack will be brutal, assuming he's given them an extra hand weapon thats 4 attacks each from the front row. If he's equipped them this way then in combat your armour saves will be the same at 6+. Also don't overlook the lore of life, increasing the toughness of the swordmasters or even bringing some back to life really puts a dampner on the warriors who just want to kill them and move on. And every spell you cast you get a wound back on one of your models. Also spearmen in a large block are a good option, they will be able to whittle the warriors down. 15 warriors can't hold out too long in prolonged combat. They're designed to get in a smash things quickly and charge straight through them.
