Yeah, but if you look global, we are pretty much tied for last with Lizardmen. Even Wood Elves and Brettonia are doing better than we are!

Well if we keep it up we can easily win nationally because last time I checked we were last nationally and now we're first so I'm going to start playing more and more storm of magic with my small amount of elves XD

That's the spirit! I'd be doing the same, if I wasn't a poor college student who barely has 1000 points of High Elves.

I'm guessing that they're running another Summer Event? I don't really see how HE are coming in last nationally, behind Brets and WE. Especially those two, who really lack much for actually holding terrain. Something smells fishy, but I won't ruin the fun with my conspiracy theories, or tales of the Storm of Chaos campaign a few years back...

SoM ups everybody's magic - one of our strengths. I'd guess this means it's not as much as a boost.

SOM ups the value of fighty casters (which we don't have - in fact our casters, excluding Eltharion, are the squishiest in the game. And it sort of looks like everyone else forgot the poor dude existed). It's still doable, but overall, the SOM rules are somewhere between gimmicky and plain retarded, and in nowhere near 'balanced'.

Still, we really don't deserve the last spot (especially against opponents with max monsters), unless there's simply that few High-Elf players around. In any case, rub the statistic into the face of everyone complaining 'bout teclis

Maybe a bunch of newbies who got started fresh with High Elves from the island of blood-box because some GW employee thrust it upon them are getting their butts handed to them all over the world?

Kind of Ironic, considering it's the first format where you can use almost all the models from that box

Also, one thing I completely overlooked before going into my first SoM game, and what I've quickly learned to love - everyone open your army books, and take a look at the "trickster's pendant"
