Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have a dragon without a rider, and was wondering do GW still let you buy indivduals or would I have to buy someone and a horse for example
If they do know any good riders?
Im guessing HE because I think they ar the only ones who can have a dragon, plus I already painted it blue and white
There is no model for him, but Emperor Karl Franz has the option of riding a dragon... Come to think of it, a lot of armies have ridden dragon options... But yeah, white and blue says point-ears...
Is it really so burdensome to buy a $15 mounted model and throw the horse away, when you're already in for a dragon that costs five times that????
Karl Franz hey, I have him, might go for that option
and I hadnt seen any good mounted models really
The high elf noble kit gives you some good variety of options. If you've got the funds, I'd buy the noble kit, and then try to find the legs from the Dark Elf dragon sprue of the rider if you need a smaller set (not sure which dragon your referring to, since there have been several HE molds).
Nights Justice Space Marines
Eldar Eth Kariel Craftworld
Spear of Kurnous - High Elf Expeditionary Army
Try ebay if your looking for a mounted model. I have seen plently Imrik models from time to time and there are plenty of sellers out there that sell just different bits for models separately (like torso's, legs, weapons, etc, etc). You could probably make a fairly unique rider for your dragon for less then buying say a HE noble kit, then not being able to use the horse......
Warhammer Armies: High Elves, Tomb Kings, Daemons of Chaos
Warhammer 40k Armies: Chaos Daemons
Bloodbowl Teams: Mean Machine (Dwarves)
Sounds like Ebay will be my friend, shame GW dont do this service anymore, I remeber the very old White Dwarfs had the part numbers in the back
