How about Hero level stats with +1 WS Magic Resistance 1 and Killing Blow. Also a 5+ ward save which he may transfer to any mages in the unit and a sword that grants +3 strength.

how about his sword just gives heroic killing blow? i know the helmet is supposed to be fluffy but i think its just overpowered for its point cost
