ok I'm writting this cuz I'm a VC player and my friend plays HE
the thing is that I have ALWAYS wiped his army into a massacre or major victory
so how would you do to beat VC?
he have used the banner of arcane protection and even amde almost his whole army imune to fear/terror and other things...
what would you do?
both to help him and help me to keep it the way it is
Well, the first thing he needs to do is ensure that he does not lose combats. He is speedy enough to avoid units with scary vampires in, and can try to concentrate on easy Victory Point units. Once he gets an advantage in Victory Points he should try to stay away from potential threats until the 6 turns are up Thats my advice -never forget Victory Points whilst playing and look for easy prey
A Promise to a dead man means nothing.
you are aware of that VC armys are almost always pretty compact and there isn't much easy targets since a vampire could be joining anytime
Use the excellent magic defence of High Elves to shut down the necromantic magic then he's well on the way. Killing the general sure helps, but you can bet that hes well hidden in a unit so its often hard to do that. Getting flank charges on undead is essential and not only winning the combat but winning by a lot is important to stop getting beaten in subsequent rounds. Killing VC characters is always pretty important, they really help units from crumbling and can add to magic pool.
