Nice list overall, however for you mages you might want to consider taking High magic for one of them, and giving that guy the seer honour so that you can choose curse of arrow attraction and maximise your RBT shots with re-rolls. This will also allow you to choose another spell, in addition to the ever-useful drain magic.

    Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,

Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

4 RBTs are a bit cheesy but overall I think it's a good list.Make sure to protect the Bolt Throwers well from enemy flankers/scouts. You should dominate the Magic phase so feel free to blast your opponent away. One Mage should take High Magic and the other some good offensive Lore.
I suppose you planned to screen the SM with the Shadow Warriors,do so 'cause the Swordmasters are really vulnerable to Magic and missile fire.

Ok so one mage on Heavens to get second sign, the other on High magic hoping for CoAA.
That way I re roll to hit and if need be to wound as well.
    *Insert manaical laughter*

Any thoughts on what to use for RBT protection?
Was thinking of dropping one of my precious RBTs to get something to save the other 3's asses if a unit gets too close.

If you are afraid of not getting CoAA just give your Mage Seer Honour and you're sorted. You could drop 2 RBTs and get a Great Eagle to guard them and spend the remaining points on something else(like more Swordmasters for instance). You wouldn't be able to drop one though 'cause 3 Bolt Throwers still take up 2 rare slots so it's up to you to decide...

hmm... what does the prince with a bow do that a commander with a bow can't?
i'm assuming his job is to fire the thing, and kill lone wizards/artillery crew. i'm thinking that the commander pretty much does the same job as well for less points.

    otherwise, cool list.

A commander can't use a Bow of the Seafarer,it costs more than 50 points which is the maximum that he can take.

    EDIT

Could take a Reaver Bow though...

The seafarer bow fires like a BT. That means I could fly to the side of a unit of say Chosen Chaos knights and possibly kill 3-4. Since they come in units of 4-6 thats a expensive unit wrecked.

Also he charges down lone mages as you said. He's a harraser unit that is used to screw with battle plans, march block for the rest of the RBTs and kill warmachines and mages.

So any ideas for RBT gaurd duty?
