i want to add more calvary to my army. currently i have 1 unit of 8 silverhelms and i want to know if i should get more silverhelms, reavers or dragon princes. I play a very deffensive army marching up with my spearmen and such while blasting you to pieces with mages and boltthrowers i mostly use my calvary as quick flanking units or counter charge units i use eagles to march block and such. Can you give me a quick detail of what the units uses might be in a defensive army and how well you think they would work thanks.
A unit of 5 dragon princes could be a heavy flank hitter and carry the banner of sorcery to aid your magic, or a unit of reavers could be used to harrass the enemies flanks
New LOChat functions now avaliable.

Well it really depends a lot on the opponent you play
Dragon Princes are excellent for taking out elite to semi-elite troops that the enemy may throw at you, just make sure you charge first. (Ex: Tomb Kings, Dwarves, other elven Armies)
Reavers are good for for flanking slow armies while filling them full of arrows. (Once again Dwarves, VC, etc
Silver Helms are a good all around Core choice for killing just about any kind of opponent, but make sure that you dont charge large units in the front, or combat resolution will send them running for the hills. Flank chargers are excellent for these guys but make sure you have either units that are front charging or the opponents has a small regiment.
