hey guys my next match up is against the Dark Elves. If any of u can help me create a army for against them that would be great because i personnaly know that this battle will be made up of rules against each other one after another after another.... and so on u know what i mean!??!?!? but yeah if u could i help i would greatly appreciate it!!!! plz and thx!!
hmmmm.... HE vs. DE. tough fight, last time i faced DE with my HE, i got butchered. they are going to generally beat you in CC due to all of their units hating yours. but yours are all immune to panic, very nice. my opponent used LOTS of repeater crossbows and mowed down my guys very quickly. my opinion? take as many mages as you can, no commanders, give half the lore of fire, half the lore of heavens. take as many repeater bolt throwers as possible and bulk up on swordmasters. get a unit of silver helms and use them to flank any enemies that charge your swordmaster and hope for the best! if this doesnt work, im sorry, i didnt win very much with my HE's, anyways, best of luck!!!
hey thx Ickebeebon tht really helps me alot i am gona start to play two different army's anyway i am thinking about playing high elves and wood elves......... so u said tht u didnt do very well with your high elves...... what other army do u play wit in fantasy?
i play as vampire counts right now and i do MUCh better. they fit my playing style much better i think. the ability to raise up lost minions helps A LOT. and about Wood Elves, my brother just started them and he seems to do very well with them, lots of shooting. but anyways, if you end up losing against DE, please dont blame me because, im not a pro.
If you have a dragon i would use it. Yes i know that they cost a lot of points but remeber that the dark elves are very similar to high elves. That means the army will not be large and it means that they will have low toughness. A dragon can also flay so if your opponent has any crossbowmen or bolt throwers or mages of his own fly over and take them out. A dragon would do severe damage to those types of units and shuld give u less trouble throughout the game. I would for any bolt throwers they have first. And when all that is over you can engage his other units.
