Prince in Dragon Armour carrying a shield wearing a Helm of Fortune, a magic weapon and a ward save on a dragon.
And then 2 level 2 Wizards with Seer using the Lore of Light and Healing Hand
The rest of the points going towards Silver Helms and maybe a unit of Dragon Knights.
Then just have the Wizards cast healing hand on the prince and dragon to keep them alive as they rip through the enemy's army.
This is perhaps the cheesiest thing someone could ever do, however it would be quite potent.

its not cheesy at all. its a good idea for sure. The only problem would be magic defense....4 DD and 2 Scrolls is not exactly my fav setup.

I dunno, I don't think 4DD and 2 Scrolls is that bad....especially when you are getting into combat so soon (and a dragon can hunt down mages ). I think what would be cheesier would be 3 lvl 2 mages and 1 lvl 4 mage (I think that is legal...) in a 2000pts game, taking as much magic items as you can that help with magic (ie. the extra power dice one, the Fury of Khaine? (the bound spell) etc. Yes, it would be prone to many miscasts and would be short on troops, but you could do a lot of damage!!! (Especially taking the option to choose your spells....).
