Hey all. I went to one of my local GW stores today looking for eagles and the guy told me in order to get them I'd probably have to order bits or get a WE hawk rider dude and just use the bird as an eagle. Is that the case normally? Do they sell blisters of just eagles? They seem to be listed on the GW website?
Thanks in advance.
i had no problems when i ordered them from the GW website, i think you can only get them direct from there....not sure why though, discriminating against us elf generals by witholding one of our most effective and diverse units!!!
Its because they are bringing in new eagle models, plastic ones, so the old metal ones got phased out of the stores. Unfortunately, it was a bit too soon it would seem, if the new ones still aren't out. Expect plastic eagles sometime soonish in GW stores. For now, we're a bit shafted.
Don't use hawks. I can't beleive the guy suggested that. They are soo much smaller than eagles, and wouldn't look anywhere near as imposing.
