Does the GW 'Ardcoat Glass Varnish (£6 at your local store ), spray on? From the looks of the can, it does, but I didn't think you could with gloss. If it does, do you have to be careful to avoid any running, keep a brush handy, etc?

    Thanks in advance,

It does spray on. Just give your models a thin coat, and paint chips will be a thing of the past.

How did you do that? Spray too much on? I've noticed that GW's spray (I use the slighty older Purity Seal type, but Ard Coat is probably similar) will cause colours to become more defined, making what looked like expert highlighting become obvious bands of colour. I've been trying to find a UK supplier of Testor's Dullcote to solve this problem, but so far have been unsucessful.

Sounds good, I think I'll get myself some of that. Sure beats carrying stuff around wrapped in tissue paper for fear of scratches.

Well soon I am going to find a Model I dont need to have and cover it in Varnish, I mean literally make a new layer of it. Then im going to take a Picture of it, then throw it around and take another picture of it. . .
