Anybody have suggestions on how I can give my Tau the "Been to Hell and back" look?
if you have a small hand held drill use it to put what look like bullet holes in their armour.
Also just scrath them slightly with a knife (lightly mind you) especially on the edges of armour.
This gives them a very good look of been shot to crap and were all thats left.
<span style='color:red'>"Right lads, lets make a tactical advance to the rear of our posistion"
"Errr do you mean run away?"
"Thats the one"</span>
"Oh man, look at that."
"Over there, by that river of boiling souls."
"Well I'll be damned... it's a Starbucks."

paint chipping paint.
First paint some grey on an armour plate, then paint most of the grey metal so it looks like the paint is worn through.
I've never done it myself but others have made it look good :)
I use a hobby knift and start gouging out lines into figure to create stress and wear on the armor.
If Wolves were meant to fly, wouldn’t the Emperor have given them wings?
With my black templar Initate i got a broken flag pole & reshaped his arm & glued the pole in making it look like he's been in a rhino crash or something like that, blood splater is good for CC armys but im not to sure for shooting.
