My initial reaction was to say I didn't like it too too much, but then I looked at it again and again, and it grew on me lol. It has a really natural look to it, as though it could exist. I like the browns and the almost swampy, dirty look to the mini. The only real issues I have are the teeth, bone, cloth and eye areas. The bones and teeth are too static and white. Try Bleached Bone, and then Skull White highlights. After this, use a 3 water to 1 flesh wash mix, and lightly coat the teeth with it, especially at the root (where the tooth comes out of the gums) and it really brings out the feel of large, scary teeth. I use this method for the teeth and claws of my 'nids. The loin cloth is also too flat... maybe throw in some colour, or an orcy symbol of some sort. Finally, the eyes are too..., dare I say it, flat lol. Some highlights, and a pupil, would bring this model to life. Other than that, I really like the skin and the overall feel of the troll, so kudos! It's definately better than the blue and green schemes out there... who ever saw a blue troll!
In the concept of time, we are like a grain in the sand.
Interesting, job well done.
My only con is that the eyes are standing out just a bit much. They seem too bright.
Again it's still a great piece of work! Looks dirty just like trolls should be.
