Well I finally got off my duff and decided to rummage through all the odds and ends and said hey I got enough crap around here to do something with. Boredome and inspiration kicked in.
I rummaged through what I could find and found the following.
All my full throttle and energy drink casepacks
All my school project foam core displays
All the cardboard boxes I saved when I moved.
All the Masonite boards
And excess plywood I found in my apartment storage left from the previous tennant.
I grabbed all the miscelanious bits I could find that I could get creative with.
The first building only took 15-30mins as I was getting used to superglue and the different painting style. Turned out pretty wicked.
Decided to try a more complicated one going after a halo theme building. Cutting and assembling in 1 hr.
I am aspiring to go for a hybrid of farcry and halo terrain and will try to get as much pictures as possible when I can borrow digital cameras from friends.
I currently now have about 5 buildings ready to be texturized and primed in the course of 4 hours.
Sensor - Beacon station
Still intact abandoned factory
Destroyed Land Raider
Chemical storage plant - made from slim jim container and toffee container
Various ruined corner sections.
Tonight I hope to go for rubble...Should be fun hacking things up.
NOTE TO SELF: Buy about three more packs of retractable razorblades.
To buy list:
Pink foam core
Half pints of paint
and Large application brush
Measure kitchen table and purchase appropriate length/width of plywood.
I'll let ya know how the hunting goes, any ideas for farcry and halo scenery most welcome.

"THAT I.G. GUY WITH THAT OVERDEVELOPED TRIGGER FINGER"
The little shacks by the beach from Farcry would be cool if you had a waters edge along one side of the board. Complete with barrels and whatever you could create a little village to fight around.
Halo-wise, the coagulation/blood gulch bases hidden in a forest maybe, a funny link I found: http://www.mocpages.com/folder.php/6142
Also the building in the centre of warlock (from Halo 2). On the right in this pic:
Just my 2 cents.
