IMHO - as the title says - too bad this is not the new Necron Lord model that is coming out for the Apocalypse: I would not have to make one myself! Seriously though - my first Green Stuff hood (please, do not remind me this ever again). War Scythe made out of small plastic rod and a Tyranid talon of some sort. Base - sliced Tyranid Gaunt. Hope you can see where it is going, even without the paint job being half-done :geek:
I like it! The sycthe is really a sycthe! The hood a cape also look great.
Prey they don't take you alive
Love the model, hate the base.
That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.
Excellent work, SmokWawelski. The whole shibang has come together nicely. I'm guessing the base looks better in person, but it's difficult to make out in the images.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
The biggest problem with the base is that it doesn't look like he is actually standing on the tyranid. Otherwise the green stuff job is great for your first try.
Definitely right with the title of the thread, the Apoc lord looks too similiar to the original. This is a cool conversion, brings a bit of character to a lifeless army.
I agree with Deceiver. This model has some feel and life in it. And the hood looks just fine The scythe on the other hand looks amazing!
Kudos on the conversion and paint job...
thats great man, I actually like the fact that you didn't put a marine under him, it sort of reminds me that we are not always fighting the Imperium
They're ladies. We can't hit ladies.
No, no. They're Daemonettes. They'll tear you limb from limb and steal your soul
But sar, thats what ladies do.
