Well, I was talking with my buddy, Jeff, and how his necrons have turned out. They are on his site, and I thought I would let you fine gentlemen/women have a go at them. Well, without further wait- Clicky!

I like his step-by-step diagrams. The damaged look for the Monolith really came out well. The ork touch just brings out the giggles in my.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
I really like the whole beat up look of his entire army.
That monolith is brilliant!

WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
@yak - the army is not actually mine. I put this up to showcase one of my gaming buddies who isn't a member.
Thanks for the comments guys, I'll relay them to my friend. He really is a brilliant painter and great at conversion work. Oh, and this goes to show, Necrons can get some conversion/painting love too!
P.S. I'll put his Orks up if you would like.
love the monlith and the ork conversions exspeccialy the one when hes in the little sewer thing
I just started with warhammer, I'm painting my army right now to great frustration trying to get around the gauss cannon(s) and in various nooks and cranny's, and I just can't say much to this without popping a few expletives, what/where do you get your inspiration for base terrain?
First off, this is not my army. But! I do have good news. I pretty much asked the same questions. His inspiration was pretty much a beat up city, his necrons standing in the rubble of the buildings. The reason the destroyers are are cool, is because he shares my hate of flying bases, and the need to find a way around the things. Really, this guy is insane, but in the good way. This took him forever, due to the fact one person can only produce so many ideas. His blog is - Right here. Here you can see the long process of the making of the necrons, and the various mock-ups and ideas.
So to he who makes awesome necrons - :drinking:
Wow these are awesome, puts my army to shame. Love the living metal of the monolith, first time ive seen something like that.
