Welcome to Librarium Online!
So I've finally seen the new Chaos Codex and I'm seriously thinking about hacking the weapons off my Defiler to get those yummy extra attacks.
But what to replace them with?
Unfortunatly my bitz box has eaten alternative limb that came with the model so I need something to put on either side of my Defiler.
I'm a Nurgle player so slimey tentacles are an option - it's just finding bits big enough.
I'm thinking that the parts would have to be at least as big as a Hive Tyrands large claws otherwise the model will look silly (giant model - tiny little claws).
Any suggestions folks?
Are you any good with Green Stuff? You could do the tentacles rather easily then.

How about the old Carnifex arms with the barnacle-things shaved off? Or maybe these would be a bit small...
Despite their awsome look, I'd like to say "no" to using Tyranid-bits.
So, now I've done it.
Since they are a bit to easily recognisable. People will go "Hey, nice use of 'nid bits" and that's not so funny. I'd like to advoce the use of Greenstuff.
First you should build a skeleton-part of the tentacles by using wire bent into shape and then beef it up using aluminium-foil.
Once you've got a tentacle you are satisfied with flatten out greenstuff and wrap it, a little bit at a time. Let it cure for a while before you do the next part. This way you'll avoid messing it up while working.
When the whole tentacle is done and cured you add detail by using a little greenstuff here and there.
It's easy, but time-consuming. Time-consuming but well wort it.
