Thinking of making some converted Ard boyz and i don't know if the bodys will fit the legs anyone know?
any help would be great
In the short and sweet of it, no ork torsos will not fit nicely on chaos legs. (other than maybe terminators). The proportions would be off and would generally look silly in my opinion.
There are however alternatives for making some beefy 'ardboyz. Here are a few deas off the top of my head:
-If you don't mind following the trend the new plastic black orcs can easily do the trick as heavily armoured boyz. They look dead 'ard but there is much to be said for originality, especially as a greenskin player.
-You could also buff up standard boyz with some extra armour. This can be done in several ways. example: adding face plates to helmets, giving them spare marine should pads, Greenstuffing or plasticarding extra plates on the torso/legs, Giving them massive riot shields.
Really the sy is the limit with orks. You could always use marine legs if you want but from examples I've seen in the past they tend to look a tad odd. (unless you use termi legs and use the orks crotch- ie just use the termi legs without their midsection.)

Yea, as cool as it would be to have a troop of Orks who managed to steal some Chaos Marines' pants, I don't think the torsos would fit. I could see using spare Shoulder pads though, they should fit well and will add to the 'scavenger' feel of an Ork army.
