I am starting my first scratch build project based on a drawing I did instead of my notes in class. It's going to be a "flyer" stand in for a sentinel and maybe a VDR vehicle depending on how I tool it up. I am going for simplicity of design since its my first try and to be able to produce potentially 8 more if I get it right. It is going to have swappable weapons (magnets) and I'll have to get flying bases but should work out. I like the A type body and B type engine personally but I was wondering what the posters here thought about that and the whole project in general.
I also need a good idea about what kind of plasticard to use.
I saw this and thought it would work but I need to know if its strong enough and if it would be enough for 2 more if the first one goes right. I think I'm set for tools though.

Yes, I think that it is "loosly" based on that dropship. The actual model of the Alien ship was much more expensive though... This guy above actually got repainted recently and has =][= markings on it now and serves as a Valkyrie...
